The Bill (Reg. No.1453) is qualified by the President of Ukraine as an urgent and is liable to priority consideration at The Verkhovna Rada.
Pursuant to the Bill, the rate of aid for children under custody or care is increased to two living wages for a child of relevant age, as it is envisaged for the children brought up in the family-type orphanages or foster homes.
The Law comes into force on 1 April 2008.
